After a period of dry weather and light winds this weekend looks lively with high winds and some heavy rain forecast.

Can you guess who's going to be in Holland for 2 days' big water zandering?

I'm going to get a job as a wind God with an energy company, when they need a boost in their supplies I'll sort a fishing trip and suddenly the turbines will be flying around.

Just keep drinking that Dutch lager and eating plenty of Asparagus, Celery and Plum Duff - the Beaufart Wind Scale will increase alarmingly

I don't see why not, as long as I can use a maggot feeder...

Are you going to be stealing a spoon from breakfast and digging up the flower beds now?

Bait anglers will buy any old rubbish!  Wouldn't catch lure anglers being so gullible...

We all survived our wild and windswept weekend.

The Haringvliet was so rough yesterday I wasn't sure whether to jig for zander or man the harpoon!

Marvellous fun.

It was a bit mental - and the way speed those boats shifted about was like something out of 'Miami Vice'

Sounds like you've been taking something from Miami Vice too!
